You can customize tables and add filters in Agent Streams and experiments, then save your configuration as a view for later use. A view can save:
  • Which table columns are displayed.
  • The order that table columns are displayed.
  • The filters applied to the table.
Saved views persist across browsers and computers so you can resume investigations without rebuilding your configuration each time. In this guide, you’ll learn how to create and manage a view. Select the tab for your deployment option to view the documentation.

Create a view (On-premises)

To create a view from an Agent Stream or experiment:
  1. From the Splunk Agent Observability main menu, select a Project. Select an Agent Stream or experiment.
  2. Select the table customization icon and update the columns as needed.
The following screenshot shows an example of creating a view from an Agent Stream, but the same process applies for experiments. Example of creating a view from an Agent Stream in an on-premises deployment
  3. Select Default View, then Save New View.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set the view name, description, and access level. Private views are only visible to you, while non-private views are visible to all project members.
